Crowdstrike unveils new invite-only partner tier amid programme revamp

Crowdstrike has unveiled a new partner programme which will include a new "elite" tier of partners to help broaden sales of its security products.

The cybersecurity vendor says its new Powered Service Provider Programme (CPSP) is geared around accelerating growth through channel players including MSPs and MSSPs.

A statement said the new programme will help service providers unlock "broader value-added solution bundles, enhance profitability and expand their routes to market".

It comes following the success of its Falcon platform, which provides customers with several security features.

Michael Rogers, vice president of global alliances, said the business wanted service providers to get "additive" value when introducing the CPSP.

"To that end, we developed the CPSP programme in partnership with GSIs, MDR vendors, MSPs, MSSPs and telcos to ensure we were meeting their needs and empowering them to grow their businesses," he said.

As part of its new programme, CPSP partners can choose to incorporate package bundles or individual Falcon platform modules into their security offerings to their customers.

They will also have a variety of discount options on offer to them when dealing with CrowdStrike.

And as part of the move, CrowdStrike has established a new elite tier that it claims "incentivises" partners with campaigns, capabilities and expanded market opportunities.

This includes new value-added bundles, new discounts, additional partnership and technical support, enhanced go-to-market support, executive sponsorship and CPSP-focused partner campaigns.

This is currently invite only, with partners so far including Cyber Defense Labs, Deloitte, eSentire, Marco Technologies, Orange Cyberdefense and Sirius.

Robert Anderson, Jr., chairman and CEO at Cyber Defense Labs, said: "As cyberthreats keep evolving and getting more complex, companies require specialised expertise in cyberattack prevention.

"Combining CrowdStrike's world-class, advanced CrowdStrike Falcon platform with Cyber Defense Labs' comprehensive cybersecurity solutions and world-class service enables us to stop breaches in real time, as well as maintain our forward-looking approach to protecting organisations from sophisticated cyberthreats they face today and in the future."

Recently CrowdStrike secured more than 1,700 new subscription customers for the second quarter fiscal year 2023 - which ended 31 July - as subscription revenue increased 60 per cent year on year.

Total revenue was $535.2m, a 58 per cent increase year on year, while annual recurring revenue increased 59 per cent to $2.14bn.

It said its new programme "recognises and rewards partners who are committed to uphold CrowdStrike's mission of stopping breaches through the delivery of their services underpinned by the Falcon platform".
