NTT Data set to acquire Apisero to boost cloud and data offering
NTT Data claims the acquisition would add around 2,100 global resources
NTT Data has announced plans to acquire Apisero in a move it claims will bolster its cloud and data integration capabilities.
Mulesoft and Salesforce partner Apisero serves enterprise customers to help them break down data silos and automate business processes.
The outfit has offices in North America, Asia and Europe with its UK base in Harrow. NTT Data claims the acquisition will add around 2,100 global resources.
"Apisero's leading expertise with MuleSoft helps us expand modern data and cloud integration expertise as we enable impactful digital transformation for our clients," said Wayne Busch, group president of consulting and digital transformation at NTT DATA.
"We continue to scale our digital transformation business. With other recent investments including Nexient, Vectorform, Postlight and now Apisero, we can offer our clients full end-to-end capabilities to help them achieve their business goals."
The transaction is expected to close within the next 30 days, but is subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory approval.
The deal with Apisero is set to bring over 1,500 certified MuleSoft consultants and 500 Salesforce consultants to NTT DATA's digital transformation services team.
NTT Data claims Apisero clients and employees will benefit from access to its resources and digital transformation capabilities including a $3.6bn average annual R&D investment.
