Rubrik secures another channel hire

Arun Dharmalingam is joining the company as VP of EMEA & APAC channels, alliances and global GSI

Rubrik has appointed a new channel boss in what is another channel hire for the back-up vendor this year.

Arun Dharmalingam is joining the company as VP of EMEA and APAC channels, alliances and global GSI.

He will play a strategic role in developing Rubrik's presence and reach across international markets and further extending its GSI partnerships globally.

Dharmalingam joins from Zscaler, where he expanded the partner ecosystem in EMEA and APAC.

Prior to this, he held senior roles at AppDynamics and Palo Alto Networks.

The appointment is the latest development in Rubrik's evolving channel strategy and another channel hire this year.

This includes Ghazal Asif - who joined as vice president of global channel and alliances in February - and Lisa Roberts, director of UKI and emerging markets channels, who joined in June.
