Transatlantic Rubrik partner Assured Data Protection is added to Arrow Electronics' cloud platform

The deal will give partners access to Assured’s data backup, business continuity, disaster recovery and threat detection solutions

Arrow Electronics has announced it has added Rubrik's largest UK partner Assured Data Protection (ADP) to its ArrowSphere cloud platform.

Dual headquartered in both West Yorkshire and Virginia in the US, ADP is a global MSP that focuses on data backup, business continuity, disaster recovery and threat detection solutions built on Rubrik's technology.

Arrow Electronics' VP of sales for its enterprise computing solutions business, Nick Bannister, said the distributor chose ADP in response to the rise in ransomware threatening businesses' data.

​​"With ransomware on the rise and attacks getting ever more sophisticated, the need for data security has never been more important," he said.

"Assured Data Protection is a great addition to our security portfolio, strengthening our customer offering and giving channel partners access to a range of products built on Rubrik technology."

Assured Data Protection's view

ADP's managing director of EMEA, Rob Mackle, said its services will be available in a variety of purchasing models via the global distributor.

"We are excited that our offerings are now available on the ArrowSphere platform," he said.

"The agreement will also help us, and our partners leverage the vast Arrow ecosystem, and we are happy to be a part of it."
