Insight's de Sousa: Services growth underlines our transition to 'solutions integrator'
Global reseller registers four per cent growth in Q3
Insight EMEA president Emma de Sousa says the double-digit service growth achieved by the global reseller in its fiscal third quarter underline its transition to becoming a "solutions integrator".
In the three months to 30 September 2022, the Nasdaq-listed firm saw net sales rise by four per cent year-on-year to $2.53bn.
Product net sales rose two per cent, while service net sales hiked 13 per cent.
Although EMEA net sales were roughly flat at $379.6m, Insight's catch from the region actually rose 16 per cent in local currencies. Stripping out fluctuating currency exchange rates, Insight's total net sales were up six per cent.
The company's adjusted earnings from operations swelled by 14 per cent to $107.1m, meanwhile.
In a results statement, Insight CEO Joyce Mullen hailed the "solid results", stressing that its cloud solutions sales grew 27 per cent.
"We are focused on our strategy and the year is shaping up as we expected, despite the economic volatility," stated Mullen.
In a separate statement sent to CRN, de Sousa said she was "very pleased" with the performance that came "despite widespread economic uncertainty across the region".
"It is particularly pleasing to report strong YoY growth in our services business given the importance of services as we transition to becoming the leading Solutions Integrator," she said.
