Codestone makes 'big move' in BI with latest deal
SAP partner snaps up BusinessObjects specialist DSCallards
Fresh from acquiring £10m-revenue rival Clarivos in May, midmarket SAP consultancy Codestone has made a "big move" in the business intelligence space by snapping up SAP BusinessObjects partner DSCallards.
Based in picturesque Ashburton in Devon, DSCallards has delivered "thousands" of SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Crystal Reports projects since it was founded in 2001.
It marks Codestone's second acquisition since it took on FPE Capital as a private equity backer in March 2021.
In May 2022, Poole-based SAP BusinessOne and BusinessByDesign specialist Codestone added £10m in revenue and 70 staff by acquiring fellow SAP partner Clarivos.
Codestone, which also partners with Microsoft and CCH Tagetik, said its latest deal will broaden its product suite and expand its presence in the business intelligence and analytics market.
"The addition of DSCallards allows us to expand our solution portfolio and better support our existing customers while continuing to grow and serve new customers wanting an end-to-end enterprise best-in-class solution," said Codestone Group co-founder and CEO Jeremy Bucknell.
"DSCallards' deep and broad data and analytics technology expertise across industries, secures the group's positioning amongst our customers that they are indeed in the best hands to achieve their full technology transformations."
According to its latest annual accounts filed on Companies House, DSCallards has around 11 staff.
DSCallards managing director Adrian Handley will become director of BI and Analytics within the Codestone Group.
"Codestone's comprehensive ERP and EPM delivery as well as multi-capability Microsoft credentials, cloud hosting expertise and comprehensive support provides much in demand services to our customers," Handley said.
