The Channel Awards 2022 and ResourceiT - Meet the Finalists!

This week, the CRN team is gearing up for the biggest event in the channel calendar - the Channel Awards.

One of the distinguished finalists at this year's awards is channel marketing agency ResourceiT.

In a hotly contested category, ResourceiT is up for Channel Service Provider of the Year - Support.

Here we talk to its general manager Tory Simpson (pictured) on what has made the business stand out in the market in 2022.

As general manager Tory tells CRN about her leadership, and why she's passionate about tech, digital and diversity. Top of mind for her is team empowerment.

In just five years, she has transformed ResourceiT with passion and creativity as she describes below.

A warm congratulations, Tory, to you and the team at ResourceiT! What would winning a CRN Channel Award mean to you?

Seeing the team gain recognition from the industry leaders judging the CRN awards truly would make my heart swell.

Every single person at ResourceiT gives 100 per cent every day and it's their skills, commitment and dedication to customer success that makes us different. I'd be absolutely overjoyed to see us win.

What have been your highlights of 2022 so far?

It's been quite a year for us!

30 per cent YOY growth, our continued investment in TC4RE and accelerating our diversity and inclusion culture internally all feature high on my list of highlights.

Moving offices and launching our new brand earlier this year were also hugely momentous occasions - marking a new era, a new energy, and a renewed passion for all things channel marketing.

And of course, being a finalist at the CRN 2022 Awards!!

What's the most interesting industry trend you've noticed this year?

Employee care and how social media is helping to accelerate change. For everyone. I've been moved by how many leaders are making the shift (and talking about it).

How has your partner strategy evolved in 2022?

We've made huge waves in the channel over the last 12 months and playing to our strengths has enabled us to identify partners who perfectly complement how we can deliver increased customer value.

We've matured, developed, and innovated to remain leading edge (but with the right network supporting us).

What are you most looking forward to about 2023?

Telling the world we've won! But in addition to that, I'm excited to continue pushing boundaries, extending our reach, developing our people and ultimately delivering exceptional results for our clients.
