Exertis named Seceon's first UK distributor

Exertis said the deal gives its channel partners increased protection against cyber threats

Exertis has partnered with US cybersecurity specialist Seceon to take its cyber threat detection solutions across the UK channel.

Seceon bills itself as a global provider of advanced artificial intelligence driven cyber threat detection and remediation platforms for enterprises and MSSPs.

Based in Massachusetts, US, it boasts an MSSP roster of more than 200.

"I'm excited to have Seceon join the Exertis Enterprise - Security solution stack as it gives our channel partners the tools they need to better equip themselves for visibility and actionable insights into the types of malicious threats that are targeting organisations today," said Dominic Ryles, director of sales and commercial - security, Exertis Enterprise.

"It's estimated that the detection & response market will grow at a 40 per cent CAGR by 2026 (Canalys Estimate: October 2022), of which Seceon plays a pivotal role in this arena, and promises a huge growth area for many of our channel partners who are looking to turn themselves into an MSSP or offer SOC-level services to their customers."

The duo said their partnership will develop new channels for the Seceon Open Threat Management (OTM) platform which uses machine learning to develop an understanding of future threats rather than relying upon the threats already noticed.

Seceon's aiSIEM, aiMSSP, and aiXDR solutions run on the OTM platform, which it claims means channel partners don't have to have a huge amount of expertise in this field, as they are guided by machine learning-based behavioural analytics and AI-based decision making to raise and eliminate cyber security threats.
