Version 1 kicks off 2023 with double swoop
Oracle partner makes 15th and 16th acquisitions, propelling its headcount to more than 3,000
Acquisitive Irish Oracle partner Version 1 has snapped up two UK peers to expand its footprint in the country.
The double swoop bolsters Version 1's headcount to more than 3,000 and customer base to over 650.
The buys also bring the MSP's total number of acquired businesses to 16.
The first deal is for the takeover of London-headquartered Automation Logic and its more than 160 employee roster.
Founded in 2010, the cloud specialist aims to support customer business transformation through cloud adoption.
It partners with tech giants AWS and Microsoft, enabling it to offer a range of cloud solutions to customers, including the Ministry of Justice, HM Revenue & Customs and Lloyds Banking Group.
Version 1 - which swapped private equity backers last April - claims the addition of Automation Logic places the MSP as the largest Irish-founded technology employer after navigating headwinds to double its headcount from 1,500 in 2020 to 3,000 in 2023.

Version 1 to takeover Qubix
Finance transformation expert Qubix is also set to join forces with Version 1, along with its 170-strong headcount.
Established in 1987, Qubix operates out of its headquarters in London with an additional presence in the US, India, Australia, and Slovenia.
Version 1 and Qubix each boast a 25-plus year track record as Oracle partners, with Qubix solely specialised in Oracle technology and focused on customer success with Oracle ERP, EPM, Analytics and Database solutions.
