Content+Cloud nabs former Cloudreach MD as new CRO
David Kress steps into the newly established position after more than six years at rival Cloudreach
Content+Cloud (C+C) has hired David Kress who joins the company in the newly created role of chief revenue officer.
The senior-level appointment comes a few months after the MSP named Geoff Kneen as its new CEO after previous company head Peter Sweetbaum stepped down to take on a new role leading international expansion for parent company Advania Group.
Kress brings more than two decades of senior sales and leadership experience to the position and will drive the top line growth and go-to-market strategy for the business.
He joins from market rival Cloudreach where spent six and a half years as its managing director and SVP of Atos OneCloud for Northern Europe, following the French group's acquisition of Cloudreach in 2021.
Before Cloudreach he was regional VP for enterprise sales at the IBM acquired business, SevOne, and headed up EMEA for more than four years at software development group Idera.
C+C said Kress will accelerate the growth aspirations within the Microsoft ecosystem and maximise the opportunities with its owner, Advania.
"This is a great appointment for C+C and I am looking forward to working closely with David. It is clear he is a leader with integrity, a deep client focus and a real passion for creating a collaborative culture where he proactively supports people in achieving their goals and developing their careers," said C+C CEO, Geoff Kneen.
"David will be a great addition to our already strong Senior Leadership Team bringing further insight and contribution to our strategic development and our M&A goals of further consolidating the UK market within cloud services."
Kress added: "I am thrilled to join C+C at this stage in its growth.
"Our customers are facing significant headwinds and increased competition and they are in dire need of partners who can help them realise their digital imperative, not just transact the next project.
"Microsoft has been a foundation for transformation and innovation for decades, and together C+C, Advania and Microsoft are in a tremendous position to help clients achieve their unique and specific ambitions."
