The buoyant numbers in this year's VAR 300 report represent a resounding vote of confidence for the IT solutions providers that make up the UK IT channel.
The top 300 resellers and MSPs on CRN's radar racked up record growth in their latest annual accounts as they emerged from the Covid fog.
They generated collective revenues of £23.8bn, a 15.2 per cent hike on the previous year (well up on the 4.5 per cent growth registered by last year's cohort).
This is despite many of the hardware-oriented outfits complaining that product shortages took the shine off their latest results.

VAR 300 ranks the UK's top resellers and MSPs on CRN's radar by revenue, from £2bn-plus giants Softcat and Computacenter to the £10m-revenue niche cybersecurity, managed print, software, AV and comms specialists that tail the rankings.
Together, they hold sway over the B2B IT budgets all vendors are so eager to unlock.
Judging by the latest market statements from the likes of Computacenter and Softcat, the IT solutions these 300 firms provide will remain a priority for end users even in the toughest of times.
