CRN Women and Diversity in Channel Awards and UK Women in Tech Festival return for 2023!

On behalf of everyone at CRN, we would like to wish a very happy International Women's Day to all the strong, talented and wonderful women of this world!

This is a global day celebrating the historical, cultural, and political achievements of women as well as taking action against gender inequality all over the world. From pay to domestic violence, education to health.

To mark this important day, CRN is delighted to announce the return of our Women and Diversity in Channel Awards as well as Women in Tech Festival in collaboration with our end-user sister site Computing.

The Women & Diversity in Channel Awards aim to champion not only women but also wider diversity within the industry. The challenge of increasing diversity in tech is now firmly on the agenda across the UK, but it is far from a solved problem.

We want to put companies and individuals in the spotlight that are not only tackling gender issues, but are making diversity, in all senses, a priority within their business.

Winners will be announced at an exclusive awards ceremony in London on Thursday 12 October - the perfect chance to come together and reward the inspirational women in the industry.

Nominations are now open and will close at 5pm on Friday 5 May. Don't miss your chance to celebrate the achievements of your colleagues.

Taking place on 31 October, The UK Women in Tech Festival 2023 is a celebration of the women shaping the technology industry. We bring together the brightest minds and most influential women to connect with each other, share their stories and encourage future leaders.

Despite efforts to increase diversity and inclusivity, women are still underrepresented in the tech workforce - particularly in leadership roles. Not only does that contribute to homogenous thought at top levels, it limits the role models available to inspire and support the next generation of female leaders.

As well as learning about the tech trends shaping the world, attendees will have opportunities to connect with mentors and access practical advice on how to progress their career. Whether you're a senior executive, a business owner, or an emerging leader, the Women in Tech Festival 2023 is an event you won't want to miss.

You can see a short video montage of last year's event here.
