One day to go: CRN's inaugural XChange UK leadership residential

Only day remains until CRN's brand new event, XChange UK which will bring together top solution providers and industry experts from up and down the country.

On 22 - 23 March, CRN will be hosting this two day, in-person conference in East Sussex which will deliver forward-thinking strategies, the latest technology solutions, and best-in-class market intelligence to accelerate your business forward and drive revenue in an evolving marketplace.

CRN's editorial team will be reporting from the event to share highlights from the agenda.

What to expect on day one

The event will kick-off with a fireside chat between CRN editor Nima Green and Flow Communications UK CEO Etienne Greeff who will discuss whether the channel should expect an M&A boom this year.

Description

Latest data from the Office of National Statistics shows that the total value of inward M&A of UK companies made by foreign companies rose to £25bn in Q3 2022 - up 100 per cent year on year.

Much of this is happening in the tech space thanks to the booming cloud services market, but what pitfalls do partners need to avoid?

Following the money, the first panel of the day will focus on whether private equity is the right decision for MSPs and IT services companies.

Moderated by CRN senior reporter Andrea Gaini, speakers from NorthEdge, RM2 and LDC will weigh up the pros and cons of private equity investment and new ownership models such as ‘John Lewis'-style Employee-Owned Trusts.
