UK channel sees new entrant as security vendor C2 launches first partner programme

Third-party risk management (TPRM) provider C2 has made its debut in the UK channel with its first partner programme.

The launch comes as the security vendor moves to a partner-first strategy in the UK.

C2 told CRN it already had partners in the Netherlands, UAE and Switzerland and plans to expand this further in 2024 and look towards North America.

It added the channel currently represents under five per cent of total revenues but expects this to grow significantly, with the aim for over 75 per cent of revenues to be via the channel by the end of 2023.

C2'S platform helps manage the threat landscape and improve your vendor, controls and project risks.

Its current partners include newChannel, Cybovate, and Resilience.

"Prior to the channel programme, we had a direct business model. Before launching, we wanted to establish relationships with partners that have extensive risk and security expertise, and we wanted to have a channel-ready product before launching our programme," C2 told CRN.

"Following the relaunch of our platform and after forging these new relationships, today we are well equipped to work with partners and pursue a channel-first model going forward."

Designed to "revolutionise" the way C2 goes to market, the new programme will enable and incentivise partners to sell C2 as the company moves to this channel-first model.

It will include the recruitment of industry-leading technology distributors, value-added resellers, global system integrators and MSPs from across the globe.

The programme will allow partners to provide a comprehensive TPRM service to their customers through a platform designed for use by global organisations, and offers partners guaranteed margins, significant growth opportunities, protected revenue, and world-class resources and tools, C2 claimed.

Jonathan Wood, CEO and founder of C2, added: "We are excited to launch our channel strategy via this comprehensive partner programme.

"There's huge market growth in this sector, and we believe the timing is right to move to a partner-first strategy.

"Among the many benefits of the programme is the ability for partners to build a managed service practice around our platform. This will allow them to deliver analysts on demand to support their customers' TPRM requirements - a major value-add for our partners."
