Sectigo names new SVP to 'revolutionise' partner sales approach
The new hiree will focus on growing the vendor’s “vital” partner ecosystem
Certificate lifecycle management and digital certificates vendor Sectigo has named Christopher Bray as its new senior vice president of partner and eCommerce sales.
Bray will be responsible for go-to-market strategy, sales and marketing operations, as well as sales execution for the vendor's partner and eCommerce businesses.
He brings nearly two decades of experience in the security software space and in B2B, B2C, and B2B2C channel and SaaS security software businesses both, domestic and global.
Bray joins from security vendor Aura where he has spent the last three years as its chief revenue officer.
Prior to this, he spent three years as SVP and general manager at Cylance, launching "the world's first AI-powered antivirus" for consumers and small businesses, which was acquired by BlackBerry in 2019 for $1.4bn.
Bray was also SVP of Norton field sales and marketing at Symantec, where he drove the acquisition and retention of key global accounts, including leading the sales function for Norton during the LifeLock acquisition and integration.
He also spent nearly 15 years at McAfee, in various roles including SVP and GM of field sales, marketing and partner engineering.
