ALSO Group buys Norwegian VAD Commaxx
The deal bolster’s the Swiss distributor’s solutions portfolio alongside its cloud business
ALSO Group has announced its acquisition of Norway-based value added distributor Commaxx.
The addition of the Norwegian distie to ALSO's roster expands its solutions portfolio and cloud business, broadens its customer breadth on system integrators value added resellers, and extends its software vendor portfolio.
Established in 1992 and headquartered in Oslo, Commaxx operates across Denmark and Sweden as well as its home territory.
ALSO claims that Commaxx's "expert" ranking for Citrix-based applications, there is significant potential to expand this offer across the group.
It added Commaxx's business model ensures a majority of its turnover is recurring, driven by renewals, hosting, and MSP/CSP offerings.
Therefore the alignment with Commaxx's growth strategy and emphasis on periodic revenue streams makes it an ideal partner for ALSO's expansion plans.
The transaction is still subject to the standard regulatory approvals.
