Digital and public cloud consultancy ANS Group has today unveiled its new reseller programme to give channel partners access to its cloud portfolio.

The Manchester-HQ firm said it is allowing resellers to offer its cloud services to build on their own proposition with ANS eCloud.

The initiative is part of its push to support the channel with its new ANS Indirect business unit.

It claims the recently launched eCloud platform is the only sovereign accredited cloud platform available in the channel.

ANS eCloud utilises the company's enterprise-grade, UK-based datacentres and infrastructure to deliver what ANS describes as a "true" public cloud experience without the need for advanced expertise.

"This is an exciting time for ANS, we are looking to build out our reseller capability, targeting traditional channel partners and giving them access to our cloud, security, and digital portfolio, starting with ANS eCloud," said ANS Group CEO, Richard Thompson (pictured).

"Many within the channel are seeking to make the transition from fixed line connectivity and telephony to cloud-based services and are looking for a partner that can help them on that transition pathway.

"We're building on 25 years' experience of making cloud simple for our partners and their customers, and we're committing to investing even further because this is an area where we can deliver significant value to our partners."

ANS Group's pivot from reseller

The company's channel growth ambitions kicked into gear when former TalkTalk MD-Indirect Richard Thompson stepped in as CEO in October following the departure of Paul Shannon after almost six years in the top job.

Shannon left the company alongside ANS Group stalwart and COO Chris Hodgson, one year after overseeing ANS' merger with UKFast and

The duo then embarked on their own journey to launch a new advisory firm OBT Advisory having transformed ANS from a reseller to a cloud and digital services outfit.
