Comms vendor NUSO buys out UK MSP I-net Communications

NUSO, a Missouri-based provider of cloud communication, collaboration, and communications platform as a service (CPaaS) solutions, has announced the acquisition of I-Net Communications Group, a UK-based service provider.

The transaction will allow NUSO to expand its cloud communications presence in the United Kingdom, enabling UK customers to access NUSO's service offerings, which include NUSO Bridge for Microsoft Teams and NUSO Bridge for Zoom.

These solutions enable users to bridge PBX, SIP Trunking, and Direct Routing platforms into the Microsoft Teams and Zoom ecosystems.

"NUSO has executed a series of successful acquisitions since becoming an independent cloud communications provider in 2018," Matt Siemens, CEO of NUSO, commented on the acquisition.

"The addition of I-Net supports NUSO's growth objectives in geographic market reach and builds upon NUSO's rapidly expanding Cloud Communications and CPaaS enablement portfolio."

The vendor describes its cloud solutions as "platform-agnostic, ensuring compatibility with customer and partner-hosted VoIP platforms of their choice."

Nick Thwaites, head of sales, NUSO EMEA, commented: "This acquisition is an exciting step for NUSO as the existing I-Net network provides the perfect platform to support NUSO's cloud communication technologies."

"We remain 100% committed to delivering innovative products and world-class service to our channel partners, carrier customers, and resellers as we continue our European expansion."

With the addition of I-Net, NUSO's portfolio now includes a range of UK-based business communication services, such as contact centre solutions, voice services, SIP trunking, and cloud PBX.

NUSO has also expanded its presence in the UK telecoms landscape, operating native UK geo, UK non-geo, and UK toll-free number ranges, along with multiple key interconnects with other UK telephony networks.

The acquisition was facilitated by Q Advisors, a global TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) investment banking boutique.
