Performanta ranked as top MSSP in global ranking

The group was the only UK company to make the top 30

Maidenhead-based managed services provider Performanta has been recognised as the top MSSP in the UK.

The cybersecurity firm landed on MSSP Alert's Top 250 list for 2023, ranking number 28 globally.

Performanta was also the only UK company to crack the top 30, making it number one in the UK and also Africa, according to MSSP Alert.

The group previously ranked number 40 in 2022.

The global ranking revealed some key takeaways from the MSSPs listed.

It found that on average, MSSPs expect to generate $56.3m in revenue for 2023, more than double the number from its 2022 report. However, the 2023 Top 250 reported 2022 revenues averaged $47m.

Moreover, 87 per cent of MSSPs surveyed expect to be profitable for fiscal year 2023, while almost all of the larger MSSPs (90 per cent) provided 24/7 security event monitoring and response for threat detection use cases on their own.

Another 61 per cent of the smaller MSSPs provided these services on their own, 35 per cent partnered with another company for these services and just four per cent of the smaller MSSPs did not offer them at all.
