New channel boss at Zyxel

Guido Stempel will head up the channel business for Germany and Austria

Zyxel Networks has appointed Guido Stempel as its new head of channel for Germany and Austria.

He has been with the vendor for nine years and will drive the strategic development in the regions in his new role.

Stempel began his Zyxel career as a team leader in sales and partner account manager. He was initially responsible for the Austrian market, and later managed the business with distributors for the German and Austrian channels for six years.

"I am grateful for the great trust that Zyxel places in me and my visions, and I look forward to new, responsible tasks," said Stempel.

"Germany and Austria are extremely important markets for Zyxel. We are therefore highly motivated to position our products and solutions even more strongly there and to ensure that Zyxel's success story continues in both countries in the future."

With Ronny Helk, previously partner account manager Austria, another channel expert will strategically expand business in the region as sales manager.

With this newly created unit, Zyxel wants to strengthen its presence and cooperation with local distributors. At the same time, this should ensure greater organisational flexibility and strengthen the position of the Austrian market.
