Cisco's Van Dijk to head up EMEA channel
A seasoned leader, Van Dijk has been with Cisco for 25 years
Cisco veteran, José Van Dijk, has returned Europe to as the vendor's EMEA head of channel.
Reporting into head of Europe, Oliver Tuszik, Van Dijk will be based in Amsterdam.
She will lead Cisco's channel in Europe. In her previous role as VP global operations and partner performance, Van Dijk has led the development and transformation of Cisco's partner organisation (GPO) for more than four years.
After several acquisitions made by Cisco in a short period of time, most recently the security provider Splunk, Van Dijk will focus on harmonising the acquired vendors' sales channels.
Tuszik wants to strengthen Cisco's SMB channel and support MSPs, in particular, with appropriate programmes. About 90 per cent of Cisco's revenue comes from partners.
José Van Dijk is a Cisco veteran. Over the course of her 25 years, she has held leadership positions in various areas of the technology group, including marketing, service and development.
At the end of 2020, she led the launch of Cisco's Partner Experience Platform (PXP).
The online Blackbelt programme provided training to ensure that partners are made technologically fit.
"Our work doesn't end with sales. GPO also works with Cisco's Customer Experience organisation on renewals.
"We are working together on the strategy and creating execution plans to make the most of our technology and automate renewals," she said at the time.
