Vertiv signs Intec as sixth UK&I distributor
The partnership will provide a range of critical infrastructure solutions to customers
Vertiv has signed a new strategic partnership in the UK and Ireland with IT hardware, software and services distributor, Intec Microsystems.
This marks Vertiv's sixth distribution signing in the UK&I region.
The new collaboration brings together the expertise of Intec Microsystem's sales force across UK&I and Vertiv's suite of products, solutions, services and asset management hardware and software.
The critical digital infrastructure vendor's partner programme, combined with the Vertiv Solution Designer product selection tool and a growing partner-focused marketing centre resource library, dovetails well with the add-value approach that Intec Microsystems brings to its reseller network.
Bringing Intec Microsystems on board grows Vertiv's channel segment by offering a depth of distribution to its expanding reseller partner network.
"Scaling up our channel business is a strategic priority for Vertiv, not just in the UK but across EMEA and globally," said Vertiv channel sales director for northern Europe, Martin Ryder.
"From our first meeting it quickly became apparent that there was a real synergy between Vertiv's rapidly maturing channel evolution and the collective ambition of the team at Intec Microsystems. We look forward to collaborating with the entire team, working together to add real value to our customers."
John Lester, sales director at Intec Microsystems, adds: "Our depth of expertise exists because we limit the number of vendors we choose to work with.
"This means we can invest a great deal of focus and attention on what vendors can offer our customers so we can provide a real value-added distributor buying experience.
"Being able to deliver this approach to selective resellers is something that aligns wholeheartedly with Vertiv's own critical infrastructure solutions offering, delivering a truly market-leading and comprehensive breadth of products and associated support tools and services."
