Node4 hires Ashley Butcher for new channel sales director role

British digital transformation MSP, Node4, has appointed Ashley Butcher as channel sales director.

Butcher will implement Node4's new channel strategy and lead a dedicated team charged with delivering an expanded suite of products and services.

"My message to the channel is simple," Butcher commented.

"We've broadened our experience, knowledge and capabilities - especially as a Microsoft Centre of Excellence and in relation to our own datacentre, business intelligence and security offerings.

"It's an excellent time to have joined Node4 and the perfect opportunity to become a channel partner."

With over ten years of experience in the telco and carrier sectors, Butcher's previous roles include senior manager of strategic accounts at BT and senior account lead, carrier and SI, at TalkTalk Business.

In both positions, Butcher developed channel knowledge and had the opportunity to build strategic C-level relationships with VAR, MSP, ISV and carrier partners.

"I'm delighted to welcome Butcher to the company," said Iain Shearman, managing director and chief commercial officer at Node4.

"Throughout his career, Butcher has demonstrated a talent for leadership as well as the necessary drive and determination to deliver on sales and revenue growth.

"Coupled with his boundless energy and ability to motivate his teams, Ashley is a superb addition to Node4's channel team and ideally placed to help maximise the potential of our expanded channel offering."

Butcher concluded: "There's a sense of excitement about our new channel proposition throughout the company.

"The channel market is changing, and it's a race to build solution-centric propositions, remain relevant and increase enterprise value.

"Node4's channel proposition delivers the end-to-end capabilities our partners need to realise this ambition - and I can't wait to discuss this offering with new and existing partners."
