Ferrand-Ajchenbaum leaves Exclusive after two years

Channel vet expects to stay in cybersecurity after a career break

Ferrand-Ajchenbaum leaves Exclusive after two years

Denis Ferrand-Ajchenbaum has left Exclusive Networks after two and a half years with the business.

The channel veteran had his last day with the Paris-based distributor at the end of October, he confirmed in an email to CRN.

Ferrand-Ajchenbaum first joined Exclusive in March 2021 as VP global vendor alliances and business development, leading the firm's vendor relationships and strategy.

A channel veteran, Ferrand-Ajchenbaum has spent his entire career in enterprise IT, with more than 20 years of experience at value-added distributors.

He joined Exclusive Networks from Arrow where he held similar roles, leading global vendor management, developing EMEA product strategy and shaping its ‘advanced technology group' vendor incubation business unit.

His other experience includes several sales and business development roles at IBM, Avnet and Clearpoint.

According to Ferrand, he is looking forward to a career break and hopes to spend some time focusing on family.

The news comes on the heels of the cybersecurity distributor hiring Paul Eccleston as senior vice president EMEA in September and acquiring Spanish VAD Ingecom later that same month as the firm hopes to ramp up EMEA growth.

The strategy appeared to bear fruit as of Exclusive's latest set of results, when the VAD reported 9 per cent year-on-year gross sales growth, topping €1.2bn. The growth was largely carried by EMEA, which delivered gross sales of €973m, an increase of €116m or 14 per cent.
