Weblib names former OVHcloud worker as new UK&I channel director
Jason Goody’s job history lists numerous channel-focused roles
Weblib has announced the appointment of Jason Goody as its new channel director for the UK & Ireland.
He will be responsible for all sales across the region, including driving strategy and growth across partner and channel operations.
"I chose to join Weblib group as they are well known in France and Germany for disruptive solutions," said Goody.
"Many organisations and channel partners want or need to work with a more local provider in the UK for such solutions, so there's a fantastic opportunity for growth in this region."
Headquartered in France, Weblib creates digital solutions to help global companies connect to their customers and employees.
The group's expertise range from WiFi marketing to mobile device management.
Its UK resellers include SCC, Computacenter and Axians, and counts Westcon-Comstor and ALSO as its distributors.
The "disruptive solutions" Goody mentions refers to the past four acquisitions Weblib has made since 2017 - Urban Koncept (2017), Ucopia (2019) , Smilein and Awadac (2022).
Goody joins the connectivity solutions specialist from French cloud provider OVHcloud, where he spent more than two years as its channel sales manager.
Prior to this he held several channel-focused roles at companies like network provider Virtual1 and telecommunications group Exponential-e.
Goody also brings experience from other technology companies such as O2 and Orange Business Services.
He adds: "Weblib already has incredible momentum and a strong portfolio. We have strong relationships with customers, channel partners and distributors.
"There is a significant opportunity to benefit from the brand equity in France, showing the value that we can bring to organisations in the UK and Ireland."
