DataSolutions launches growth programme for vendors
Amplify gives vendors resources to expand in the UK and Ireland through access to channel partnerships
Climb-owned distributor, DataSolutions, is launching its Amplify programme, developed to accelerate growth for vendors looking to establish or further expand their presence in the UK and Ireland markets.
Over the next 6-12 months, DataSolutions aims to give access to its network of more than 700 resellers, partners and MSPs, including the Top 100 VARs in the UK and Irish markets, for at least ten new vendors, and provide support and resources to expand distribution channels and drive business growth.
Through the programme and driven by DataSolutions' 30-plus years of experience in the industry, vendors will be better equipped to identify business opportunities, attract customers, and maximise sales in the region.
In turn, this will support their ability to innovate and expand outside of their home markets.
Specifically, DataSolutions' sales and support team hope to help vendors by promoting and putting their solutions in front of an extensive network of partners.
As well as establishing relationships with channel partners to support expansion, vendors will benefit from the opportunity to cross-sell with other vendor partners and have a platform whereby they can amplify their messages across social, email and online channels.
The initiative is for both emerging vendors and those that are established in their home markets but are looking to build a presence in the UK and Irish markets.
It is also for vendors that are already directly selling or have existing business in the region but are not reaching their potential.
For those new to both markets, DataSolutions is providing insights and guidance to navigate local channels.
Three different levels of marketing support will also be available through the programme, with a dedicated service designed to maximise awareness and drive demand among customers. Marketing support includes activities such as branding, digital strategies, content creation and demand generation campaigns.
DataSolutions adopts a 2-tier channel model, which offers benefits including lower cost-of-sale due to lower staffing, administrative and logistics expenses; greater product and customer focus from not having to run extensive sales, support, logistics and finance businesses. The 2-tier model also offers faster market penetration by leveraging local channel relationships and knowledge, broader market reach and cross-selling opportunities with other vendors in the distributor's portfolio.
Francis O'Haire, group CTO at DataSolutions, said: "As a business, we are growing and are eager to further expand our vendor portfolio.
"From emerging to established vendors, we are looking for ambitious companies that want to expand their reach, delivering innovative technologies to a much wider audience.
"Of course, breaking into new markets can be challenging and we have seen many vendors struggle to fulfil their full potential on an international scale.
"But there is vast opportunity in the UK and Ireland as one of the largest markets in the world. We also know the value of and can provide access to channel partnerships that deliver benefits for vendors, including greater reach and rapidly increasing revenues."
O'Haire added: "Not only are we helping vendors to establish and expand their presence in the UK and Irish markets, we are also identifying cutting-edge solutions for resellers that could be transformative for their customers.
"Underpinned by in-depth industry experience spanning three decades, Amplify is a new means for DataSolutions to deliver best-in-class service - service that will power success for all involved."
DataSolutions was acquired by Climb Global Solutions for $16.3m in October 2023.
