MSP Advania has acquired 100 per cent of shares in Solv from management and other shareholders.

Norwegian privately owned IT services provider Solv specialises in large advisory, design and development projects offering tailored solutions for customers.

The MSP is hoping to scale its existing services and introduce new ones to clients in Norway.

The two solutions providers said they are aiming to create an "exceptional" workplace, allowing talent from both companies to excel in a decentralised, customer-centric environment.

"We take great pride in the culture-driven and agile company we've built over the years. It's with great excitement that we join forces with Advania, a company that, like us, values culture, customer closeness, and growth," said Morten Nessler, CEO of Solv.

"Welcoming the entire Solv team to Advania is incredibly exciting.

"This acquisition highlights our commitment to becoming the preferred IT services provider and our ambition to support our customers in creating sustainable value through their digital transformations," said Hege Støre, Group CEO and Interim CEO of Advania Norway.

Advania has operations in Sweden, Norway, United Kingdom, Iceland, Finland, and Denmark.

This is the second acquisition six months for Advania, after it bought large-scale digital transformation provider RTS to strengthen its offering in Sweden in October 2023.

The Swedish privately-owned IT services company specialises in large digital transformation projects and managed services as well as offering hardware and licenses to meet the IT needs of their customers.
