How is US-based $1.2bn Climb Global Solutions evolving?

Its CEO Dale Foster takes the hot seat in the latest instalment of CRN's CEO Killer Questions series to give his perspective.

Foster says the answer centres on Climb's culture from within.

"The faster the company moves it's about the relationships we have with each other, our vendors and our customers.

"Once you have that established everything moves quicker and we got to the bottom line as far as how we service and support a customer and their needs."

Answering the killer question from a technical perspective, Bass adds: "We've seen an interesting evolution.

"We've gone form security being almost 26 per cent of our business to almost 44 per cent of our business in less than five years.

"One of our challenges is, there's a lot of consolidation in that space. Lots of security companies want to offer a platform and not a point solution.

"So one of the challenges is do you pick a killer point solution that's going to get gobbled up? Or do you go for the platform guys that are taking bites out of the big guys?"
