TD SYNNEX becomes first UK distributor to stock Sophos security appliances
Sophos security solutions will be sold in the UK through the distributor’s InTouch ecommerce platform
TD SYNNEX is now first UK distributor to hold Sophos hardware security products in stock and ready to ship to partners.
Sophos' solutions are now available for partners to order on TD SYNNEX's InTouch e-commerce platform.
Alison Nixon, UK business unit director for security at TD SYNNEX said: "For Sophos partners, this is a huge change and a big opportunity.
"Our customers have been asking us to apply our best-in-class stocking and ordering capabilities to the Sophos hardware products and we've worked with Sophos to make that happen.
"This means that our partners will now be able to fulfil orders more or less immediately and that will give them more chances to win new business and deliver a higher level of service to their customers."
She said partners will now have next-business-day delivery by default, and can also make the most of premium delivery options such as pre 9am, pre 12pm etc which were not options to them before.
"They can also combine the orders with other products we sell meaning they can deliver multi-vendor solutions straight to their customers' door, in fewer deliveries meaning smoother project delivery in many cases."
To help partners sell and instal Sophos' security solutions, Nixon told CRN the distributor is offering enablement, training and business development support for Sophos partners.
Local TD SYNNEX experts are also running technical events every quarter.
"We had our hands-on firewall workshop in March which was a sell-out event and planning another one for June, with registrations opening soon.
"TD SYNNEX's European managed services team offers a range of services that wrap around the cyber security solutions we offer.
"For example, services include managed next-generation firewall, managed identity, and mobile device management, as well as monitoring, reporting and support services."
Solutions available from TD SYNNEX include Sophos Firewall and the XGS Series appliances with dedicated Xstream Flow Processors that is said to enable application acceleration, high-performance TLS inspection, and threat protection.
