Infinigate launches updated digital hub for channel partners

Cybersecurity distributor Infinigate is launching a new portal called Infinigate Digital Connect (ID Connect), enabling an end-to-end digital experience for partners.

The distie also hopes ID Connect will help partners make the most of growth opportunities linked to the rise of the IT subscription consumption model.

The portal is an update of Infinigate's existing cloud subscription management platform Infinigate Cloud where the distie sells Microsoft and cybersecurity products.

Infinigate also previously had a basic e-commerce webstore, and ID Connect brings all these portals together under a single pane of glass with single sign-on for easier access.

Through ID Connect, partners can access digital services to cover digital provisioning of cloud subscriptions and MSP programmes, purchasing hardware, acquiring essential information such as order status and stock level, and sourcing pre-built marketing campaigns, latest vendor training etc.

"ID Connect is a single-entry point for customers to interact with us digitally. It simplifies the process of navigating our different portals through single sign-on," Alexandre Remy, VP digital business at Infinigate tells CRN.

He explains the platform also reduces the cost of entry for partners to adopt subscription models.

"We simplify buying subscriptions, managing consumption, invoicing, and other fulfilment aspects through just a few clicks.

"Beyond that, we help partners transition by providing guidance on building new service offerings, customer contracts, operating models, and sales compensation aligned with subscriptions.

"Our uniquely broad portfolio across cloud and cybersecurity vendors gives partners diverse subscription offerings beyond just Microsoft."

Remy adds that compared to pure marketplaces for buying and selling, ID Connect offers more than just enabling transactions.

"It provides value-added services like marketing content, training resources, support, and professional services – all aimed at helping customers through their workflow."

For MSPs, ID Connect provides access to the Infinigate Cloud platform to buy, manage and invoice cloud subscriptions from Microsoft and cybersecurity vendors.

It also automates renewals, consumption tracking, customer invoicing and integration with customer systems.

"We offer tools like product recommendations, granular customer consumption analytics to identify growth drivers, and other functionalities aimed at simplifying MSP operations with the right data," Remy says.

The hub offers enhancements for marketing campaigns such as pre-built "marketing-in-a-box" templates that partners can co-brand and deploy directly to customers.

Or for a fee, Infinigate provides more customised campaigns tailored to the partner's needs.

"These campaigns span most of our vendors and geographies. Partners actively using our marketing tools see revenue growth at least twice as fast on average due to the leads and pipeline these campaigns generate," Remy explains.

"Training is a major focus given the constant need for education on new innovations like AI and cybersecurity," he adds.

The distributors offers two types of training on AI through ID Connect:

1) In-house training developed by Infinigate, like courses exploring AI's impact on security. These are delivered online or on-site.

2) Vendor-certified training where we act as trainers to help partners get accredited and unlock higher partner tiers/benefits with vendors.

And looking ahead, Remy says: "We have an ambitious five-year vision to further digitalise our customer interactions."

Some key goals include:

"The overarching aim is to empower customers with the right information and tools at the right time to accelerate their business growth."
