Cyber solutions provider Sapphire has tapped Nadine Errington as its new chief financial officer.

With extensive financial expertise across various industries, including education technology, pharma and engineering, Errington's appointment finalises Sapphire's revamped leadership team after several months of transition.

Since autumn 2023, Sapphire has been strengthening its executive team with several key appointments.

In September, the MSP named Ian Thomas as its CEO, while Charly Davis became chief commercial officer, Gareth Pritchard took on the role of chief technical officer, and Claudia Quinton was appointed chief people officer.

The reshuffle was intended to provide the foundation for Sapphire's strategic expansion and enhanced client services.

Reflecting on the new executive team, Thomas stated: "Nadine's appointment solidifies our commitment to assembling a top-tier leadership team at Sapphire. Her proven track record in diverse sectors will be instrumental as we continue to drive growth and innovation in the cybersecurity landscape."

Errington (pictured) commented: "I am thrilled to join Sapphire at such an exciting time in the company's growth journey. I look forward to working alongside Ian and the entire team to further strengthen Sapphire's financial position and drive sustainable growth."

Sapphire has recently made significant strides in the cybersecurity sector, including the acquisition of Awen Collective, a Welsh-based operational technology (OT) specialist.

The company has also launched a third-party risk management service powered by agnostic intelligence.
