Fortune 500 solutions integrator Insight Enterprises is taking over British consultancy firm, New World Tech (NWT), in a move aimed at enhancing its expertise in driving digital transformation for clients across various sectors.

NWT, known for its consultancy-led approach, has built a strong reputation in the industry for delivering complex IT projects and technology strategies for large organisations in financial services, automotive, TMT, and the public sector.

The company's core strengths lie in providing advisory, assurance, and technical services, with a focus on sourcing strategy, ServiceNow solutions, business transformation, and programme assurance.

Adrian Gregory, Insight EMEA president, highlighted the significance of this deal, stating: "This acquisition is an important milestone for Insight in its evolution. With the addition of NWT, Insight can build upon its expertise as a solutions integrator.

"Their approach and techniques are rooted in diligence and precision, and they have a reputation for delivering quality, timeliness, and value."

NWT's team primarily consists of experienced CTOs, programme and project managers, and solutions architects.

Glenn Ballard, NWT CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, saying: "Our acquisition by Insight speaks volumes of their recognition of the talent and expertise that we have at NWT.

"With Insight's expansive partnerships and accreditations, we are confident that we can help our clients achieve their goals faster and with greater agility."

This acquisition follows Insight's recent strategic moves to expand its capabilities, including the acquisitions of Amdaris for developer power, Infocenter for automation, and SADA for cloud competence.

The addition of NWT is expected to complement these existing capabilities and strengthen Insight's position as a comprehensive solutions provider in the digital transformation landscape.

Insight said it hopes the merger will create a powerful entity in the realm of business and IT strategy, combining NWT's world-class capabilities with Insight's global technology and services organisation.
