MSP Espria has appointed Greg Hawthorn as its new chief technology revenue officer.

Hawthorn brings over 25 years of experience in technology transformation and infrastructure projects across various industries.

His expertise in cloud strategy and architecture practices will play a crucial role in expanding Espria's customer base and driving long-term growth, the MSP said.

In his new role, Hawthorn will focus on nurturing existing customer relationships while attracting and onboarding new clients.

Espria said the appointment comes at a "pivotal time" as the company continues to scale its operations in the latter half of 2024.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the new position, Hawthorn said: "I am delighted to be joining a great team at Espria. I am hugely impressed with the breadth of the technical capability and offerings from Espria and will endeavour to build upon their growing dominance in providing IT and communications solutions."

Clinton Groome, CEO at Espria, welcomed Hawthorn to the team, highlighting his track record in exceeding sales targets and ensuring consistent revenue growth.

Groome emphasised Hawthorn's expertise in Microsoft cloud solutions and managed services as key assets that will guide Espria through its ongoing growth phase.

"Greg has a profound insight into the digital transformation market," Groome said.

"We are fully committed to his mission to develop valuable customer insights, solve business challenges, and create value.

"From development of revenue to sales and scaling, Greg will be playing an instrumental role in maximising value and revenue for Espria."

The appointment of Hawthorn aligns with Espria's strategy to strengthen its leadership team with industry veterans who can drive innovation and growth.

As the demand for digital transformation solutions continues to rise, Espria said it is trying to position itself to capitalise on market opportunities and expand its service offerings.

Hawthorn will play a role in shaping Espria's commercial strategy, leveraging his experience in professional and managed services leadership to extend the company's presence in the competitive digital transformation landscape.
