XChange MSP: Q&A with Sonny Sehgal, CEO, Transputec

CRN's XChange MSP 2024 conference is drawing nearer.

Ahead of the event, set to take place on 1 October, at the Sofitel, London, we sat down with Sonny Sehgal, CEO of Transputec and CRN advisory board member, to get his take on the invaluable experiences and connections gained through past XChange events.

Read on to find out what attendees at the channel's foremost managed services event can expect this year.

CRN: What is the most rewarding part of your role as a member of the XChange advisory board?

SS: Meeting interesting people and learning about the new technologies and how vendors and their customers are embracing new innovations and handling traditional problems within their businesses. I think the community and sharing has a big benefit, people can openly share the ‘good, the bad and the ugly'

CRN: Why XChange? How do these events differ, in your opinion, from other channel conferences?

SS: The XChange events are well organised, get the right mix of engagement from the right type of people and they are full of the right type of crowd that can take benefit from these kind of events.

CRN: What advice would you give to a first-time attendee to make the most of an XChange conference?

SS: I would advise people to come and engage, ask questions and actually ask fellow attendees what they are up to and learn.

CRN: As an AB member, you regularly find yourself chairing boardrooms at the conferences. How do these discussions inform the rest of your work?

SS: As a chair of these meetings I've learned a lot from others and started implemented some tips and tricks that I would have never have thought about in our business.

CRN: What has been your best memory from XChange so far?

SS: Creating interesting connections, having the fun along the way and building strong relationships with industry peers.
