N-able rehires Andreas Hudson to lead international marketing
Hudson returns to N-able roots after nearly a decade.
Rounding out a week of senior vendor moves, Andreas Hudson makes a return to N-able.
His new position as VP of international marketing at the IT management software vendor feels a bit like coming home, as from 2014 to 2016 he was responsible for N-able marketing in the DACH region and the Nordic markets.
After his time at N-able, Hudson's career took him to companies such as MDDUS, Axios Systems and Insightsoftware, where he was able to distinguish himself as a leader.
After eight years, Hudson is now returning to N-able to further drive the vendor's global business.
"I am returning to a company that is familiar to me," he commented on his appointment.
The marketing man now wants to implement new perspectives and clear strategic goals: "For me, the main focus is on further expanding the existing potential and identifying new growth drivers," emphasises Hudson.
In his position as vice president of international marketing, Hudson will be responsible for strategic planning, managing direct and indirect marketing programmes, and promoting cross-departmental collaboration.
The appointment comes amid circulating rumours of an N-Able sale to another vendor, which first emerged in May.
At the time, sources told Reuters that the Burlington, Massachusetts-based software vendor is participating in a sale process that attracts private equity firms.
One such company reportedly eyeing N-able is Campbell, California-based cybersecurity company Barracuda Networks.
