Integrity360 moves forward with global expansion after Grove Group deal

Integrity360 has acquired Grove Group, a Cape Town, South Africa-headquartered cybersecurity and cloud services outfit.

Founded in 2005, Grove has a headcount of 50, bringing Integrity's staff roster to more than 500 employees.

The newly acquired group has grown strongly over the last five years with a CAGR of over 22 per cent, and during 2023 achieved sales of €17m.

The addition of Grove provides Integrity with 600 new customers across 51 countries including the UK, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and Mauritius.

A merger between the two brings Integrity's group annual revenues to €130m (up from €85m in 2022) and adds a fifth SOC (security operations centre) location based out of Cape Town to be combined with Integrity's other four SOCs in Dublin, Sofia, Stockholm, and Naples.

Integrity360 executive chairman Ian Brown tells CRN the group was drawn to Grove for its expertise in certain technologies.

"Grove has a well-established history and credentials in the cybersecurity sector and a passion and proven technical expertise in looking after its customers.

"That expertise includes certain market leading technologies such as Darktrace and Proofpoint," says Brown.

He adds Integrity is "considering other locations in Europe and across the globe" as part of its further worldwide expansion, and that its organic growth strategy is driven by "selling additional services to new customers, and also securing additional net new customers."

"What's important to us are companies with strong technical skills and capabilities, an interesting range of customers, and a similar cultural ethos to Integrity360," Brown says.

Meanwhile, Grove customers will benefit from access to Integirty360's cyber services portfolio of cyber risk and assurance, cybersecurity testing, incident response, infrastructure, endpoint, PCI compliance, and a range of cybersecurity managed services including innovative XDR/MDR solutions.

James Vintin, CEO of Grove adds: "The connection between Grove and Integrity360 has developed over an extended period of time, and we could not be more delighted to be joining the group and working closely with Ian and the Integrity360 team over the coming years."
