Countdown to Expo '09

With the best education programme in Expo history and more big hitters exhibiting than ever before, can you afford to miss this year's event? writes Sara Yirrell

Yirrell: See you at the NEC!

This year we have some real big hitters exhibiting at the show, which is taking place on 20 and 21 May in Hall 9 at the NEC in Birmingham, including Dell, Ingram Micro, Northamber, Intel and VMware.

Our latest recruits to the exhibitor list include distribution players Enta and Interface which signed up last week to get a piece of the Expo action.

CRN’s Expo team has also worked very hard to get a top class education line up sorted out for the two days, and this year features keynotes from HP, Dell, Google, Microsoft, Intel and VMware.

On top of that we also have keynotes from top Gartner analyst Tiffani Bova on opportunities in the channel and Was Rahman from UK Trade & Investment offering advice about taking a company abroad.

We also have keynotes on Green IT, conducting a business healthcheck, marketing your company properly and how to avoid becoming a victim of corporate fraud.

Our aim for Expo is for visitors to actually get something out of coming along to the show, whether this is pure networking opportunities with their peers, learning about new technology or opportunities that will help to better their business, or even picking up tips and hints about getting a business in shape.

There truly will be something for everyone. I look forward to seeing you all there.
