Career so far I had many successful years in IT sales and sales management with AST Computers, LG Electronics including seven very good years with IBM working with distribution and channel partners.

Do you care about green IT? Not really, but I think that everybody will be forced to think about it.

If you could be in a rock/pop band, which one would it be and who would you be? Robbie Williams in Take That. Forever the rebel!

What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? Private jet to Reims for three days champagne drinking and touring Moet and Dom Perignon vineyards with a helicopter trip and great food in between.

Has 2009 been as bad as everyone said it would be? Professionally, it has been the worst year in my working life. Just awful.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? None! I could have never seen what an awful year 2009 would be!

What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2010? Every year we say stabilisation but I truly feel that 2010 will bring stability with a lot of the stronger companies becoming even stronger and the weakest going away.

What is the best part of your day? Depends what day it is. Monday to Friday, coming home in the evening. Weekends, waking up in St Albans listening to the cathedral bells knowing that I do not have to be anywhere I don't want to be.
