Career so far I spent a forgettable six years in accountancy and finance, followed by 16 exciting and enjoyable years in IT.
Do you care about green IT? Yes.
If you could be in a rock/pop band, which one would it be and who would you be? Joe Strummer of the Clash.
What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? Chelsea versus Liverpool with Samsung where my seven-year-old son was Chelsea mascot - it was a once in a lifetime experience.
Has 2009 been as bad as everyone said it would be? No. It has been tough but most businesses have survived the challenges. The overall IT market will not significantly improve for some time but we will see dramatic changes within it which will create a lot of opportunity and excitement.

What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2010? Identifying the right areas to invest in to create differentiation and executing on them.
What is the best part of your day? All of it.
