Career so far A rollercoaster. I started work at a young age (15) and keeping customers happy for that long has had as many ups as it has downs!

Do you care about green IT? Yes, but more importantly our customers do although certain sectors have a greater emphasis than others and we flex accordingly.

If you could be in a rock/pop band, which one would it be and who would you be? Andrew Ridgley in Wham! He got all the pleasure without the effort.

What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? Ascot Ladies Day. Every year we make a special point of treating all our customers PAs who do not get the credit they deserve. There are 50 women and me and a few sales guys, so everyone wins - great day, (don't tell our competitors)!

Has 2009 been as bad as everyone said it would be? No, but it has been tough. The strong will survive and Calyx has certainly shown when the going gets tough.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes. Pompey didn't win the league.

What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2010? Continuing to create genuine value for customers in times of constant price pressure.

What is the best part of your day? The morning. I have so much optimism about what I'm going to achieve in the day however, my optimism is normally dampened by lunch time!
