Career so far I have been with HP for more than 25 years and during this time I have held a number of senior roles including partner business director and a European sales management role based in Munich. Do you care about green IT? Absolutely - we have to leave a legacy for our children.
If you could be in a rock/pop band, which one would it be and who would you be? Eagles, Don Henley. I love the music and play and sing guitar, much to the annoyance of my family.
What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? At HP, a couple of years ago we took 50 directors to South Africa and hired Harley Davidson's to take them to Table Mountain. Awesome!
Has 2009 been as bad as everyone said it would be? Actually, I'm pleased with our performance; you learn a lot about yourself and your team in tough times.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? I think it will be a good one, but then I am an optimist - I support Sheffield Wednesday.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2010? Work life balance - much to do at home and great opportunity in the IT market!
What is the best part of your day? Going home and having dinner with a glass of wine with the family.
