If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do? I would be Ian Poulter, the golfer, and I would play all my mates at golf and whoop them for as much wedge as possible.

What would you have as your last meal? A very spicy curry with a fine bottle of Chablis.

What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? A trip to Venezuela with an unlimited drinks budget.

Do you see the cloud as a threat or an opportunity? I see it as a nice new word for the internet. Been here for decades and now it’s been reinvented by marketers to rejuvenate software publishers’ GTM strategies. It’s a threat and an opportunity.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes, I thought we would win the Ryder Cup.

What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2011? Making money by being squeezed at one end by the vendors and at the other end by increasingly pressured end users.

What is the best part of your day? Walking on the sales floor and hearing about the most recent episode of The Inbetweeners.
