Ian Kilpatrick
Career so far: Wick Hill boy, man and industry veteran, partner at Kilpatrick Stephens and, in a very previous life, UK controller for the technology sales and marketing division of Litton Industries.
If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do? Tony Blair: I'd listen to the public and not invade Iraq, then I'd sack Brown.
What would you have as your last meal? I'm hoping it will have been a surprise.
What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? Anything and everything involving speed and adrenaline.
Do you see the cloud as a threat or an opportunity? Absolutely an opportunity.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes, continued growth in security and the need to continue to finance VAR growth.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2011? Access to credit, having confidence for growth and adding value in a tight market.
What is the best part of your day? The wind-down run in the evening.
