Career so far:

I have been at Vohkus now for nearly six years, after having a long stint in distribution at Northamber and Bell. It's been the best move ever.

If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do?

Prime minister. I would sort out the education policy as the country needs more talent in all areas of business.

Cloud - friend or foe?

Friend. We have been working in that arena under different guises, so understand it and deploy it, be it internal or DC-based.

Has 2011 been as bad as everyone said it would be?

Not at all. It has been hard work, but team Vohkus have delivered.

What would you have as your last meal?

Lebanese. There is a huge variety with great tastes and cater for vegetarians as well as carnivores.

Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with?

My family, as the boys are getting older and it would be great to spend more time with them.

Have any of your predictions come true this year?

It was going to be a hard year and those who worked at it and adapted would be successful.

What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2012?

The ever-changing IT market is moving quicker than ever, getting the primary vendors to keep up with the pace of the change as opposed to being pulled back by corporate procedures.

What is the best part of your day?

MBP (Morning before phones): a couple of hours to think, plan and catch up.
