Ann Keefe
Career so far I've worked for Newbury Data, Compaq, AST, Datrontech and now Kingston Technology.
If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do? The couple that won £101m in the EuroMillions lottery in October. Do I really need to explain what I'd do?
Cloud - friend or foe? Friend. The cloud means more servers, which means more memory.
Has 2011 been as bad as everyone said it would be? It has certainly been challenging in some respects, but at Kingston by continually delivering great quality products and services we've seen encouraging results so far. We grew our DRAM market share to 46.04 per cent in 2010 (according to iSuppli, May 2011) and we intend to keep growing.
What would you have as your last meal? A curry in the hope it would keep repeating on me.
Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with? A lift engineer.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? I predicted that Kingston would continue to grow in market share terms despite the downturn in the economy.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2012? David Walliams? On a serious note, it's hard to predict what will be a challenge for the channel in 2012, but I know there will be some desperate companies doing some desperate things. One thing I can say is that Kingston will remain steadfast to the channel, one thing less for its channel partners to worry about in 2012.
What is the best part of your day? Last year I wrote wine o'clock but this year it's champagne o'clock - I have moved on!
