If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do?
The Sultan of Brunei. I'd empty all his bank accounts and do as much good as possible in developing nations to eradicate hunger, provide good accommodation and deliver basic healthcare. Doing it in seven days would be a challenge, mind.
Cloud - friend or foe?
Friend.
Has 2011 been as bad as everyone said it would be?
Yes for retailers, not so much for VARs and MSPs.
What would you have as your last meal?
A huge seafood paella shared with my best friend and wife Ruth and our three beautiful girls.
Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with?
Heads of the G7 nations. I would knock their heads together to save me having to raid the Sultan of Brunei's bank account.
Have any of your predictions come true this year?
Yes. The continued success of Network Group.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2012?
The continuing downturn and how to succeed in the new economy. The euro debt crisis will boil over soon and it will hit hard.
What is the best part of your day?
Getting up! The joy of being granted another day to live life to the max - John ch10, v10.
