Has 2011 been as bad as everyone said it would be? Not at all. In lots of ways it's been really strong.

What would you have as your last meal? The world's largest pizza - 122ft in diameter is the record - because I love pizza and I wouldn't want to rush a last meal.

Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with? A lift engineer.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? I didn't make any.

What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2012? The same as 2011 and 2010: continuing to innovate and adapt and sell through a downturn.

What is the best part of your day? Cake.
