Career so far I was with Computer 2000 for five years, then Samsung Electronics, then Computer 2000 again.

If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? George Osborne. So I could resign.

Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? Good. It has been a tough environment but with as many opportunities as there have ever been.

What would you have as your last meal? The world’s largest pizza.

What keeps you awake at night? Nothing.

What piece of technology could you not be without? My phone. I couldn’t live without it.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? Probably two: 1) Cloud would still be full of uncertainty; 2) Distributors would continue to grow in the main.

What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? Anything in Las Vegas.

What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2013? Every year I think the challenge is providing the right service and solution to the end user in a way that is future proofed and makes the whole supply chain money.
