Career so far I am a 20-year technology veteran handpicked to lead channel and commercial sales throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa Region for McAfee. I joined McAfee from Juniper Networks where I served as vice president of channel sales in EMEA. In this role, I managed channel sales across EMEA for Juniper Networks where I grew the channel partners by 200 per cent.
If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? My son. He is five years old, so it would be great to be that free again.
What will next year's most overhyped industry buzzword be? Big data but it should be big security data.
Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? It has been a good year because we have seen the traction of our channel programs grow and grow.
What would you have as your last meal? Steak pie and chips.
What keeps you awake at night? Wondering if we are doing all we can to keep our customers satisfied.
What piece of technology could you not be without? My smartphone, as I travel all the time and it keeps me in touch.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes, McAfee has continued to deliver on its channel vision and we are getting real traction in the UK channel.
What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? I went to the Monaco Grand Prix this year with some of our top partners.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2013? Making sure that we deliver the right solutions for our customers.
