Career so far I have been running The Internet Group since I was at school.
If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? I have always been told that I should have gone into law, so I would like to try out being a barrister for a week.
What will next year’s most overhyped industry buzzword be? BYOD. The death of the PC is still a number of years away. I know I couldn’t work with just my iPad every day!
Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? It has been a good year. We have made lots of progress in a number of strategic areas, but the recession is still here.
What would you have as your last meal? Sushi.
What keeps you awake at night? My 15-month-old daughter!
What piece of technology could you not be without? After trying BlackBerry and Android tablets, I now cannot live without my iPad.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes. I predicted that the vast majority of clients would still opt for a private of hybrid cloud than jump to Office 365 or Google Apps.
What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? Lunch at the Gherkin.
What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2013? Customer education and margin protection.
